Bernabò was born in 1323 in Milano (Milan), Lombardia, Italia , the son of Stefano Visconti and Valentina Doria.

He died on 18 DEC 1385 in castillo di Trezzo, Trezzo d'Adda, Milano.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Béatrice Regina della Scala, who he married on 27 SEP 1350 in Verona, Veneto, Italia . Their eight known children were Taddea (c1351-1381), Viridis (c1352-<1414), Antonia (1360-1405), Maddalena (1367-1404), Lucia (c1372-1424), Elisabetta (1374-1432), Agnese (1363-1391) and Caterina (1361-1404).

His second partner was Montanina de Lazzari, but they were never married. Their only known child was Donnina (c1360-1406).
